Prof. Paul Zarowin received his BA magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania College of Arts and Sciences, and both his MBA and PhD from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He has been an accounting professor at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business since 1984. During this time he has taught Financial Accounting and Financial Statement Analysis at both the undergraduate and MBA levels at the Stern School and at NYU’s Law School. He has also taught these subjects to analysts at Wall Street investment banks. His primary research interest is the relation between financial accounting information and stock market prices and returns, and he has published numerous articles in academic journals such as the Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Finance, and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
